An Ukrinform correspondent in the Federal Republic of Germany learnt this from the press service of the City Hall of Berlin.
"Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller will be on a visit to Kyiv on June 6-7," the spokesperson of the City Hall said.
As noted, Kyiv and Berlin are interested in enhancing relations, therefore, the mayors of the two cities will sign a joint statement on further cooperation.
It is expected that Michael Müller will also meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and members of the Verkhovna Rada. The parties "will exchange views on such issues as urban development, tackling corruption and improving management effectiveness."
In addition, Muller will give a lecture at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
