The Ukrainian Parliamentary Committee on European Integration is initiating an address to the European Parliament regarding the introduction of additional trade preferences for the Ukrainian goods under the association agreement.

First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Maria Ionova stated this during a meeting of the Agenda Setting Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“I ask you to include in the agenda the Verkhovna Rada’s appeal to the European Parliament regarding the introduction of additional trade preferences of the European Union for the goods produced in Ukraine,” she noted.

Ionova also called on the Parliament to consider as soon as possible the priority draft laws on the fulfillment of Ukraine's obligations under the association agreement.

According to her, all the priority bills "have been sent to the speaker".
