Malta to continue support Ukraine's EU integration aspirations and territorial integrity

President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Malta will continue to support Ukraine and its desire to be closer to the EU, as well as Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," she said.

Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca has welcomed the visa waiver for Ukraine, stressing that her country will do everything possible to improve the Ukraine-EU interaction and expressed clear support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Head of Ukrainian State expressed gratitude to the President of Malta for an unwavering support of sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, particularly in the issue of the policy of sanctions against the country-aggressor.
