Extension of sanctions against Russia should remain in force – Poltorak

Ukrainian Defense Minister General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak states that extension of sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation should remain in force in the future.
He said this during a meeting with Dr. Norbert Röttgen, the Chairman of the Bundestag's Committee on Foreign Affairs, the press service of the Defense Ministry reports.
"All countries of the world should understand what is happening and have political unity regarding the situation in Ukraine. The extension of sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation should remain in force, as none of the clause of the Minsk agreements has been fulfilled by Russia," Poltorak said.
He thanked Dr. Norbert Röttgen for the consistent and clear position that he and his colleagues provided to Ukraine on all world platforms and during events where there was a discussion about the events in our country.
