President Poroshenko to make state visit to Malta on May 16-17

"May 16-17, 2017, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will make the first state visit to the Republic of Malta in the history of bilateral relations between the states," the statement reads.

During the visit to the country, which currently holds the EU presidency, the Head of the Ukrainian State is going to meet with the President of Malta, the Prime Minister of Malta and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament.

It is also planned to sign a number of bilateral documents that will contribute to the intensification of cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Malta in various fields.
