Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated this at a press conference on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“The EU is launching a project “Support to police reform in Ukraine” worth EUR 6 million. The successful implementation of the project will ensure not only the efficient police work, but will also increase the level of public trust. We intend to start this work in three regions: Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv. I’m interested in pilot projects to be most successful. We are taking systemic steps, and these issues are of principle for us,” Avakov said.
