Czech Foreign Minister: Ukraine should take additional steps to tackle corruption

The Government of Ukraine needs to take additional steps to tackle corruption.

Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek said this at the meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in Kyiv on Tuesday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We are happy with the successful introduction of the e-declaration system, but the additional steps are needed to confirm the government's genuine interest in tackling corruption," Zaoralek said.

The minister is confident that the progress in reforming the Ukrainian economy will be the best response to the reproaches of those critics who argue that Ukraine cannot exist as a modern state.
