The International Court of Justice will deliver its order on the request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by Ukraine in the case concerning Application of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Ukraine v. Russian Federation) on April 19.

This is said in the ICJ’s statement.

"A public sitting will take place at 3 p.m. at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which Judge Ronny Abraham, President of the Court, will read the Court’s Decision," the statement reads.

As noted, the court sitting will be streamed live on the Court’s website (www.icj-cij.org/multimedia) as well as on UN Web TV, the United Nations online television channel.

As a reminder, January 16, 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine filed a lawsuit with the International Court of Justice over Russia’s violation of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
