All Polish consulates in Ukraine temporarily closed

All Polish consular offices in Ukraine will be closed until they are provided with effective round-the-clock security and those responsible in today's incident in Lutsk are punished.

State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Poland Jan Dziedziczak said this to Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia, reads the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Poland, published on the website of the Polish Embassy in Ukraine.

"Vice Minister Jan Dziedziczak has stated that all Polish consular offices in Ukraine will be closed until the expectations of the Polish side are met," the statement reads.

As noted, at the meeting Dziedziczak insistently demanded that the Ukrainian side take resolute actions to identify and punish the perpetrators of shelling of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk and also ensure the effective round-the-clock security of Polish diplomatic and consular institutions accredited on the territory of the state.
