President Poroshenko calls on NSDC to suspend transport communication with occupied territories in Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on Wednesday proposed that transport communication with temporary occupied territories in Donetsk region be suspended.
"Today I propose that the National Security and Defense Council take a decision on the temporary full stop of transport communication, not only the railway, with the occupied territories. It will operate until occupants return seized Ukrainian production back to the jurisdiction of Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
According to him, an exception will be made only for humanitarian cargo from Ukrainian, international organizations, the UN, the Red Cross and others, medicines, goods of prime necessity.
“We must not allow the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in occupied territories. We must take care of a sufficient number of products and medicines for our citizens," Poroshenko stressed.
