Poroshenko: Council of European Union gives green light to final stage of visa liberalization

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko welcomes the decision of the Council of the European Union on the abolition of visa regime for Ukrainian citizens.
The President stated this today, March 3, during a working trip to Kharkiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We have completed the process of ratification with the EU. Yesterday, the Council of the European Union gave green light to the last final stage of the visa-free regime. We expect the vote in the European Parliament, which supports our European commitment," Poroshenko said.
As reported, the Council of the European Union gave consent to the abolition of the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens on March 2.
