Government appoints Myroslav Prodan as acting Head of State Fiscal Service

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Myroslav Prodan as acting Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
The relevant decision was taken at a government meeting on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
Myroslav Prodan will temporary fulfill duties of the State Fiscal Service head while the investigation into the case opened against Roman Nasirov, earlier suspended head of the service, is underway.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, Nasirov is suspected of abuse of office and embezzlement of public funds in the amount of over UAH 2 billion.
