U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Foreign Minister of Poland Witold Waszczykowski discussed this during a telephone conversation on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported from Warsaw with reference to the Polish Foreign Ministry.
"The heads of the Polish and American diplomacy also discussed the issues of Russian-Ukrainian conflict. They expressed hope that by joint efforts of Europe and the United States it will be possible to gradually resolve the conflict," the Ministry’s press service reports.
The sides discussed prospects for the development of transatlantic cooperation and bilateral cooperation between Poland and the U.S., the topical issues of international relations and the main challenges to security.
The parties agreed to hold a dialogue during a meeting of the Global Coalition against ISIS in Washington on March 21.
