No boundaries can separate Crimea from Ukraine – Minister Hrynevych

Education and Science Minister of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych said this in a video address to the Ukrainian citizens in Crimea as part of the communication campaign "Crimea is Ukraine. 1,096 days of resistance", which was initiated by the Information Policy Ministry of Ukraine on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Day of Resistance to Russian Occupation of Crimea.

"Now is difficult time, when Crimean Tatar people are subjected to persecutions, reprisals and are forced to live on their own land, but not in their own country because of the Russian occupation. However, you should remember that we are always together and no boundaries can separate us because all Ukrainians have common future," the Education and Science Minister of Ukraine said.

Hrynevych stressed that the Government of Ukraine will make every effort to ensure the right of children from the occupied Crimea to the Ukrainian education.

"Both you and your children have the right to access to education in Ukraine, and the Education and Science Ministry will contribute to this in every possible way. We have common future. Crimea is Ukraine," the Minister said.

As reported, the International Forum "Crimea under Occupation: Consequences for Ukraine and the world" was held on February 25-26.

February 26, Ukraine marked the Day of Resistance to Russian occupation of Crimea.
