Ukrainian President, PM congratulate Steinmeier on election as German president

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his election as the President of Germany.
The congratulations were posted on Twitter.
Groysman noted that the Ukrainian government appreciated Germany's assistance and "hopes for further cooperation and support of the newly elected federal president."
Poroshenko said he expected the continuation of friendly and fruitful cooperation for the prosperity of the united, democratic, and free Europe.
