Russia fully responsible for shelling residential areas in Avdiivka - President

President Petro Poroshenko has held a videoconference with Donetsk RSA Head Pavlo Zhebrivskyi to discuss the current situation in Avdiivka and give necessary instructions to ensure normal functioning of the town and restore permanent power supply.
This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.
The President emphasizes that Russia and its militants are fully responsible for the brutal escalation of the situation in the industrial area of Avdiivka and the shelling of the residential areas that killed and wounded civilians, journalists and Ukrainian military.
According to the President, pro-Russian militants deliberately hinder the repair work organized by the Ukrainian party.
