Speaker Parubiy: Cooperation with NATO priority for Verkhovna Rada

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy stresses that the cooperation with NATO is a priority for the Ukrainian parliament, as Ukraine aims to become a NATO member.

The Ukrainian speaker stated this during a meeting with Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine, Alexander Vinnikov, the Verkhovna Rada’s press service told Ukrinform.

Speaker Parubiy wrote about the meeting on Twitter: “I’ve reminded Mr. Vinnikov that in 2017 we mark the 20th anniversary of the NATO-Ukraine Charter on a Distinctive Partnership. Ukraine will be a NATO member”.
