President Poroshenko thanks US Senators for readiness to assert sanctions against Russia

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has expressed gratitude to US Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Amy Klobuchar for their readiness to assert the US sanctions against Russia.
Ukrainian President posted this on his Twitter page.
"I am grateful to Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Amy Klobuchar for their readiness to assert the US sanctions against Russia," Poroshenko wrote.
As reported, US Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Amy Klobuchar arrived in Ukraine on December 30.
The same day, McCain and Graham, who actively support Ukraine and call on the US executive branch to provide Kyiv with lethal weapons to counter the Russian aggression, were awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise "for significant personal contribution to strengthening the relations between Ukraine and the United States of America."
