Savchenko, "LPR/ DPR" leaders discuss amnesty, lifting of sanctions - SBU

MP of Ukraine Nadiya Savchenko during a meeting with the leaders of "LPR/ DPR" in Minsk discussed not only the release of hostages but also amnesty and lifting of economic sanctions.
Representative of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Kachanov said this at a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I know that the MP discussed behind the scenes not only the liberation of the hostages, but also the lifting of economic sanctions from the regions, as well as the issue of amnesty," he said.
Earlier, Savchenko said that she and leaders of "DPR" Oleksandr Zakharchenko and "LPR" Ihor Plotnitsky did not discuss the amnesty for members of illegal armed groups.
