Klimkin, Šefčovič coordinate positions on eve of trilateral gas talks

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin coordinated positions with Vice-President of the European Commission for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič on the eve of the Ukraine-EU-Russia trilateral gas talks.
This Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has posted this on its Facebook page.
"During his visit to Brussels, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Vice President of the EC for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič. The parties coordinated positions on the eve of the Ukraine-EU-Russia trilateral gas talks, scheduled for December 9," the statement reads.
As noted, the parties discussed directions of strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, in particular with regard to the energy sector reform, as well as in the context of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Energy Partnership between Ukraine and the European Union.
