Only social, economic and humanitarian issues are solved in Minsk in order to help people on the temporarily occupied territories.
Leonid Kuchma, the second president of Ukraine (1994-2005), said this during the First Baltic-Black Sea Forum in Kyiv on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
Kuchma has stressed that it is necessary to use every opportunity to move towards peace.
At the same time, he has expressed opinion that the solution of the situation around the conflict in annexed Crimea and Donbas depends only on God and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In turn, Leonid Kravchuk, the first president of Ukraine (1991-1994), expressed hope that the initiative of the former leaders of the Baltic-Black Sea Region "will allow to bring a new view of the situation to the Russian president."
