Release of political prisoners to be discussed at Ukraine-NATO and Ukraine-OSCE ministerial meetings

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin intends to raise the issue of release of Ukrainian political prisoners imprisoned in Russia, particularly Ukrinform journalist Roman Sushchenko, at the Ukraine-NATO and Ukraine-OSCE ministerial meetings.
He said this at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Margot Wallström, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I intend to raise the issue of release of political prisoners during the next meeting with many colleagues, in particular, during the NATO-Ukraine and Ukraine-OSCE ministerial meetings," Klimkin said.
He added that the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine would consistently seek the liberation of all Ukrainian political prisoners and needed the support of the international community in this process.
