Moldova is a strategic partner of Ukraine, and the relations between two countries should be based on trust and mutual respect.
First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said this during a meeting in Chisinau with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip, Ukrinform correspondent reported from Moldova.
"Moldova is a strategic partner of Ukraine. We want our relations to be based on trust and mutual respect," Stepan Kubiv said.
He welcomed the positive dynamics of bilateral relations, stressing the openness of the parties to dialogue and deepening of cooperation.
According to the head of the Moldovan government, a special attention was paid to the implementation of energy projects and the opening of joint border control points at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
