Trump, Putin not discuss Crimea in telephone conversation – Peskov

US President-elect Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on Monday, their meeting was not agreed before the inauguration of the American leader.

This has been said by Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Interfax reported.

Peskov noted that the leaders did not discuss "settlement of the situation in Ukraine and recognition of Crimea."

As Ukrinform reported earlier, US President-elect Donald Trump previously promised if he won the sanctions against Moscow could be lifted.
