President launches gas production at Kolodnytsya gas field in Lviv region

President Petro Poroshenko visited Kolodnytsya gas field in Stryi district, Lviv region to take part in launching gas production.

The President noted that Ukrainians had always dreamed about freedom and independence. This is what Ukrainian warriors fight for today on the frontline.
The Head of State reminded that Ukraine had been kept on the gas hook for 25 years. He noted that Ukraine had managed to diversify energy supply sources and ensure reverse gas supply from Europe.
Now, the priority is to develop Ukrainian gas production. “And we are not trying to monopolize through any state preferences. Finally, the state has turned its face to honest, genuine Ukrainian investors,” the Head of State said.
