The European Union has not yet formally responded to the first stage of electronic declaration, but the first assessment is very positive.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Olena Zerkal said this at the briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"There is no official response [of the EU] so far," Zerkal said.

She added that the EU was waiting for the official completion of submission of e-declarations and possible analysis: whether all had time to submit declarations, whether there were any mistakes and abuses.

"The preliminary assessment is very positive. They praised the fact that all the officials, who were required to submit e-declarations, did that. It was very important for them, and this important event should provide us with an additional leverage on the European institutions while considering the Ukrainian issue in November," Zerkal said.
