Juncker: Association Agreement remains in force despite the Netherlands

President Petro Poroshenko has had a phone conversation with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. During the conversation, the European leader, inter alia, noted that the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, including the FTA, remained in force, despite the fact it had not been yet ratified by the Netherlands.

"The parties discussed the ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by the Netherlands. Jean-Claude Juncker emphasized that the Agreement, including the free trade area agreement, remained in force," the statement reads.
The President of the European Commission once again confirmed that Ukraine had fulfilled all the criteria necessary for granting visa-free regime.
In addition, the parties discussed the agenda of the next Ukraine-EU Summit scheduled for November.
