Government introduces new post of state secretary at Defense Ministry

The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced the new post of state secretary at the Defense Ministry.
This is stipulated in draft resolution No.730.
According to the resolution, among the duties of the Defense Ministry’s state secretary will be organizing work of ministry’s staff, ensuring development of proposals for the implementation of ministry’s tasks and submitting them for the minister’s consideration, preparing and submitting plans of work for the minister’s approval and reporting on their fulfilment.
The state secretary at the Defense Ministry will also ensure the implementation of state policy on state secrets and control that they are kept at the Defense Ministry. Also, the state secretary will appoint and dismiss officials of the ministry.
