NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this following a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I welcome that you had a meeting yesterday [on October 19] in the “Normandy Format” in Berlin. Including the plan to create a new road map for implementing the Minsk Agreement,” Stoltenberg said.
He also said that “NATO’s support for Ukraine is unwavering” and the alliance will continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
“And we do not – and we will not – recognise Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea,” Stoltenberg said.
