MEP Harms hopes decision on visa-free regime for Ukraine to be made soon

The European Parliament points out that the visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens should be abolished as soon as possible, after the EU approves new rules for suspension of visa-free regime for all the third countries.
MEP Rebecca Harms expressed such an opinion in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels.
"This decision should be made as soon as possible. I hope that discussion about the mechanism of suspension [of visa-free regimes with the third countries] will end in the Council of the European Union over the next few weeks. However, even if with this mechanism is launched, the visa liberalization for Ukraine should be approved," the MEP said.
