Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence: FSB information about Sushchenko not correspondent to the facts
This has been reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence.
“We do not confirm this information. It doesn’t correspondent to the facts. We believe that Russia's special services see a spy in every citizen of Ukraine who is on the territory of Russian Federation,” the Defense Intelligence was commenting on "charges" brought by Russia’s FSB against the Ukrainian journalist detained in Moscow.
As earlier reported, Russia’s FSB called Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko, detained in Moscow, a staff employee of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate and opened a criminal case under the “Espionage” article
The press service of the Russian FSB stated that Sushchenko “deliberately collected information about activities of the Russian Armed Forces and the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the information which is classified and the leak of which could damage the defense capabilities of the Russian government”.
