Ukraine, NATO to discuss efforts on countering Russian aggression

On Thursday, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission will be held in Brussels. The sides will discuss urgent issues of cooperation, as well as situation in the security sector against the background of Russian aggression.

The Ukrainian side will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Vadym Prystayko, an Ukrinform correspondent reported from Brussels.

"The meeting will focus on situation in the security area in and around Ukraine, as well as development of the Normandy format and the Minsk process. We exchange this information with NATO on a daily basis in the format of political, military, intelligence contacts," Deputy Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO Yehor Bozhok said.

The implementation of the Warsaw Summit decision regarding NATO's assistance package to Ukraine will be also considered at the meeting.
