Government foresees UAH 129 bln for security and defense in draft state budget for 2017

The Cabinet of Ministers has proposed that UAH 129 billion, 5% of GDP, is envisaged in the draft national budget for 2017 to finance the national security and defense.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said at a government’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We have determined the whole complex of defense sector: expenditures – in the amount of UAH 129 billion, what is by 15 bln more than last year. This corresponds to 5% of GDP,” the prime minister said.
