Poroshenko: No Russian elections in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the Foreign Ministry to inform the Russian Federation that no Russian elections will be held in Ukraine.

Press secretary of Ukrainian President Svyatoslav Tsegolko wrote this on Twitter.

"The President instructed the Foreign Ministry to inform Moscow about the impossibility of holding Russian elections on the territory of Ukraine," Tsegolko wrote.

As reported, Russian parliamentary elections will be held on September 18. The elections are also planned to be held on the territory of the annexed Crimea.
