EU can play leading role in reconstruction of Donbas – Mogherini

The European Union has defined the priorities for effective assistance in the process of full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said this before the informal meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs in Bratislava, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We discussed the possibility for the European Union to play a leading role in the reconstruction of the country, in particular certain regions after the full implementation of the Minsk agreements," Mogherini said.
According to her, the EU is ready to provide a short-term financial and technical support to improve the living conditions of the population, especially in the energy sector.
