Poroshenko, Duda to adopt joint declaration dedicated to 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence

The Presidents of Ukraine and Poland will adopt a joint declaration on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

This has been stated by the foreign minister in the Office of the President of Poland, Polish Radio reports.

"On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, the Polish and Ukrainian Presidents will adopt a joint political declaration," he said.

As it was noted, the declaration will focus on support for the Ukrainian independence and the Polish contribution to it, as Poland was the first country in the world which recognized its independence.

It was also reported that President of Poland Andrzej Duda will arrive in Kyiv on August 24 to take part in the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
