Oswaldo Biato becomes new Ambassador of Brazil to Ukraine

Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko has held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Brazil to Ukraine Oswaldo Biato on the occasion of presentation of copies of credentials.
According to a report on the Foreign Ministry’s website, during the meeting the sides agreed on the need to intensify a bilateral political dialogue in the near future and discussed practical steps in this direction.
Special attention was paid to the situation that occurred following a decision by the previous leadership of Brazil to close the Ukrainian-Brazilian space project and the unilateral termination by Brazil of a corresponding Agreement. It was agreed to continue consultations on this issue.
