OSCE says its Ukrainian employee was temporarily out of reach, now he’s safe

Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE said that one of its employees was temporarily out of reach while he was on vacation, the mission has written on Facebook.

"SMM OSCE can confirm that one of the local staff of the Mission in the Luhansk region was temporarily out of reach while he was on vacation. Currently, the Mission is aware of his whereabouts and that he is safe. This is all information that is available at this time," the statement has noted.

Earlier, the Russian FSB reported about the alleged detection and detention in Russia of a "Ukrainian SBU spy" who worked as an interpreter in the OSCE Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and allegedly collected intelligence commissioned by Ukrainian intelligence services.
