Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman during his working visit to Germany held a meeting with President of Germany Joachim Gauck. The sides discussed the prospects for introduction of the EU visa regime for Ukraine, the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements and the progress of reforms in Ukraine.

It has been reported by the Government portal.

"Minsk process is the only way to return peace to Donbas," Groysman said. He noted that Ukraine was committed to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, while Russia did not comply with its commitments.

According to Groysman, the sanctions against the Russian Federation must remain in force until full implementation of the Minsk agreements, as well as the resumption of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, including Crimea.

In turn, Gauck assured Groysman that Germany fully supported the measures for implementation of the Minsk agreements and strongly condemned the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation.
