Missing Crimean Tatars incidents are on the rise in the occupied Crimea. On Wednesday May 25, former deputy city council, a member of the regional Mejlis Ervin Ibrahimov was reported missing, journalist Nadzhi Femi wrote on her Facebook page.

"In Bakhchisarai town, a Crimean Tatar, former member of the Town Council, a member of the regional Mejlis, Ervin Ibragimov has gone missing. His car was found abandoned in the middle of a road. His parents do not know anything about his whereabouts. He has not contacted his family," she wrote.

The fact of Ibrahimov’s disappearance has been confirmed by deputy head of the Mejlis Aishe Umerova on her Facebook page.
