U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has not made any strict demands on holding elections in Donbas in summer and amending the Constitution of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a briefing after the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I met with Ms. Victoria Nuland yesterday. She made no categorical statements," Groysman said.

According to him, the parties discussed the carrying out of reforms in Ukraine and U.S. support for them. Attention was paid to the situation in Donbas and how to resolve it.

"However, no specific things or deadlines were mentioned during my meeting with Ms. Nuland," the Prime Minister assured.

Ukrainian PM and U.S. Assistant Secretary discussed the implementation of the Minsk agreements. "We are implementing them, now Russia has to do its part. They should withdraw their soldiers, mercenaries and weapons from Donbas, and then we will be able to restore the prospects for life there," Groysman said.
