EU Council's official tells when EU will consider visa cancelation for Ukrainians

The first working sitting at the level of the Council of the European Union to consider legislative proposals by the European Commission regarding the visa cancelation for the Ukrainian citizens will be held on May 11.
An official representative of the EU governing institution told own Ukrinform correspondent.
“Proposals should be discussed for the first time at the next sitting of a visa working group on May 11. Then, they will undergo certain procedures at various levels,” the EU representative said.
The official also stressed the decision on the cancelation of visa requirements for Ukrainians should be taken jointly with the European Parliament.
