The leader of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Yuriy Lutsenko, has called on the development of a detailed schedule for implementation of plan to reform Parliament, drafted by the technical mission of the European Parliament led by Pat Cox.
Lutsenko said this during today’s meeting of the Agenda-Setting Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"First of all, I urge the immediate elaboration of a schedule for implementation of Mr. Cox's plan for reform of Parliament as early as this week," the MP said.
At the same time, he stressed that some points of the plan also covered the reform of cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada and the Government of Ukraine. According to the MP, it is very important "to stipulate an effective model" of this interaction.
Parliamentary-governmental working groups, Lutsenko noted, could be one of the instruments for such cooperation.
