EU should involve Ukraine in integration processes more actively – Klimkin

Taking into account the domestic and foreign challenges, the EU should more actively involve Ukraine in the European integration processes in order to strengthen them.
This was stated by Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin during the Kyiv Security Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In this situation, we, perhaps, are the last real enthusiasts of the European Union and European integration... We have the energy and the inspiration for the integration process. As for me, the EU should use this to give an additional impetus and get the much-needed energy," he said.
"The recipe is very simple. We need the EU to act on the basis of values of solidarity and involvement. We have always wanted solidarity and involvement from the EU. We have already had the solidarity and the involvement should still come. We can discuss the forms of this involvement," Klimkin said.
