Leader of the People’s Front Party, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, has called on the free world not to lift sanctions against the Russian Federation until Russian troops leave the territory of independent Ukraine.
Yatsenyuk said this at the 9th Kyiv Security Forum, the party’s press service reports.
“Until the Russian Federation and its troops leave the territory of independent Ukraine, namely get out of Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea, I’m calling on the free world not to lift sanctions against the Russian Federation, and to put pressure on Russia. It is the only language it understands,” Yatsenyuk said.
He noted that the Russian military aggression still remains. "Today, Russia is a threat to the values of the free world and the whole free world,” the politician said.
Yatsenyuk also thanked Western partners, the European Union, the United States and the whole free world “for not leaving Ukraine alone."
