EU expects new Ukrainian government to continue carrying out reforms

The spokesperson of the European Commission, Maja Kocijancic, has said that the European Union expects that a new Ukrainian government will continue carrying out political and economic reforms.

“We have taken into account the resignation of Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Ukraine. The prime minister and the government are doing important work in difficult circumstances. In such circumstances, they have conducted necessary reforms. We expect the information about a new government in Ukraine, which will carry out needed economic and political reforms,” the European Commission spokesperson said, own Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Kocijancic, the European Commission also expects further progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
