Candidates for government posts revealed

Deputy head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction Oleksiy Honcharenko announced possible candidates for a number of positions in the Cabinet of Ministers.

He revealed the names to reporters on the Parliament’s sidelines after the meeting of the faction, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Thus, according to Honcharenko, Vitaly Kovalchuk may become the First Vice Prime Minister – the Regional Development Minister, Volodymyr Kistion may become the Vice Prime Minister for ATO, Pavlo Rozenko – the Vice Prime Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Oleksandr Danyliuk – the Finance Minister, Andriy Reva – the Health Minister, Liliya Hrynevych – the Education Minister, Maksym Nefiodov – Social Policy Minister, Volodymyr Omelian – the Infrastructure Minister, Ostap Semerak – the Environment Minister.

The MP added that Arsen Avakov would remain in the post of the Interior Minister and Pavlo Petrenko would remain the Justice Minister. He noted that the candidates for energy minister, economy minister and culture minister had not been agreed.
