Total of 1.761 mln registered internally displaced persons from Donbas, Crimea - ministry

As of April 4, 2016 a total of 1 760 972 internally displaced persons from Donbas and Crimea have been registered in Kyiv and in other regions of Ukraine.
The press service of the ministry for social policy of Ukraine reports on its site.
"As of April 4, 2016, according to data from the structural units of social protection of regional and city administrations, 1,760,972 h internally displaced persons have been registered or 1,407,382 families from Donbass and Crimea," a statement said.
According to data released by the ministry for social policy, 787,660 families have applied for obtaining financial assistance, 736,305 families have been approved to receive assistance.
