A new coalition and a new prime minster of Ukraine should be announced as soon as during the first plenary week of the Verkhovna Rada.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“During the first parliamentary week the country should get a new prime minister, a new coalition, a new government action plan, which guarantees certain stabilization of work of coalition and government,” he said.
Poroshenko also reiterated that in line with the Constitution, the president has 30 days to respond to the absence of parliamentary coalition.
“I’m stressing that the parliament doesn’t have these 30 days. I’m not going to give them [this term],” the head of state emphasized.
