Parliament sacks Prosecutor General Shokin

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine had adopted the resolution No.4122, granting the consent to the dismissal of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by President Petro Poroshenko.
The resolution was passed by 289 lawmakers.
The draft resolution was registered on February 22, 2016.
